Holistic Massage Therapy tailored to your needs and goals.
Stephanie uses a combination of soft tissue techniques to effectively relieve stress, restore balance and promote healing. She uses warm oils and a heated massage table to make every treatment feel truly luxurious.
What is Holistic Massage?
A bespoke massage treatment that takes in to account the whole person. Massage techniques include: effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, vibration, passive joint mobilisations, deep tissue, NMT (Neuro-Muscular Technique). Stephanie can also do a Postural Assessment where she observes your posture to find imbalances that will inform your treatment plan.
What can I expect from my first session?
A thorough consultation which Stephanie will use to create a treatment plan, tailored massage and aftercare.
How can Massage Therapy help?
Skilled massage applied to the soft tissue encourages the muscular and nervous systems to relax, helping release stress and tension.
Massage can offer an opportunity for you to build awareness of your physical holding patterns, while slowly releasing them. If you are feeling disconnected from your body in some way, whether that’s due to physical pain, discomfort or emotional stress; Stephanie can help.
Stephanie has a deep understanding of the multi-sensory experience of a massage treatment, which begins the moment you walk through the door. In other work she uses her knowledge of touch to create multi-sensory experiences for music with BitterSuite.
Stephanie has also worked as a Massage Therapist for The Lush Spa where she received high quality training in their unique range of treatments.
Currently, Stephanie works with survivors of brain injury at local charity Headway East London, where she facilitates inclusive movement sessions. Stephanie’s background in dance and inclusive movement means she is skilled at tailoring treatments and after care for many different bodies.
